Derelict building alight in Ramsgate
Incident details
UPDATE 7.25pm 
Kent Fire and Rescue Service responded to 999 calls to a fire in a derelict building in Haine Road, Ramsgate at 4.15pm. 
 
At the height of the blaze around 16 firefighters and four fire engines were at the scene. Crews were fighting the fire wearing breathing apparatus and using fog spike and a main jet. A water shuttle was also in operation. By 6.30pm the firefighting operation was completed and crews were cutting away and damping down. 
 
5.15pm 
 
Firefighters are dealing with a fire involving a derelict building in Haine Road, Ramsgate. Four fire engines have been sent to the scene. Kent Police are also in attendance. The cause is not yet known.
