Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service on a regular basis.

Gillingham house fire
Incident details
Firefighters were called to Garden Street, Gillingham at 10.15pm and arrived on the scene minutes later, to find black smoke issuing from the building. Crews wearing breathing apparatus are using a hose reel jet and a covering jet to tackle a fire in the ground floor of the house. 
 
Everyone has been accounted for and firefighters are currently ventilating the property and making the scene safe.
