Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service on a regular basis.

Incident
Tonbridge RTC
Incident details
KFRS crews were called to an RTC on the A228 at Five Oak Green, Tonbridge.  Two people were trapped in one vehicle with a second vehicle on fire.  Crews used breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet and main jet to put out the fire.  Firefighters released the two people trapped in the second vehicle and released them into the care of ambulance.  The road expected to be closed for some time following the incident.
