UPDATE: Dartford warehouse fire

The fire has been fully extinguished and responsibility of the site has now been handed back to the responsible person on site.
Update at 14:30 on 15/10/18:
The Dartford warehouse fire has been scaled down to three fire engines. Contractors remain on site to demolish parts of the building to help firefighters gain access to the smouldering coffee inside.
Due to the quick thinking of the officers in charge in the initial stages of the incident, the production area of the warehouse has minimal damage. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by Kent Fire and Rescue Service and the business owner.
Update at 15:00 on 12/11/08:
Fire crews remain on the scene of a fire in Dartford within a coffee warehouse and factory on the Riverside industrial estate. Contractors are demolishing parts of the building to help crews gain access, so they can turn the coffee over and damp it down. Due to the size of the warehouse, the fire service is set to be working on the site into next week.
Update at 16:00 on 11/10/08:
Firefighters are now expected to be on the scene of the Dartford warehouse fire well into tomorrow, due to the large amount of coffee inside the building which needs to be turned over and dampened down to be fully extinguished. People living and working nearby are reminded to keep windows and doors closed while smoke is still in the air.
Update at 12:15 on 11/10/18:
Firefighters are expected to remain on the scene of the Dartford warehouse fire in the Riverside industrial estate for the rest of the day and into the evening. Currently there are around 45 firefighters in attendance and height vehicles are being used to attack the fire with water from above. The smoke coming from the incident has eased since this morning, however advice for people living and working nearby to keep windows and doors closed remains in place.
Update at 09:50 on 11/10/18:
Fire crews are making good progress at a large fire in Dartford within a coffee warehouse and factory on the Riverside industrial estate. The alarm was initially raised by an employee inside the building, which was swiftly evacuated, and there are no reported casualties.
The building is roughly 40m x 40m in size and firefighters are working hard to prevent fire spread. Around 50 residents living in nearby flats were evacuated for a short time but have now been advised to return inside. The fire service’s technical rescue team in on site and using a drone to get a view of the incident from above.
People living and working nearby are advised to closed windows and doors due to smoke in the area. We would like to thank residents and businesses for their patience and cooperation while we attend to this incident, which has caused increased traffic in the area.
Update at 08:00 on 11/10/18:
Crews are making progress with the fire and trying to prevent the fire spreading further within the building. Ten fire engines and two height vehicles are at the incident. Firefighters are using main jets and will be using a drone to check for fire spread. They are working with police to manage traffic in the area. Residents and local businesses are reminded to keep doors and windows closed due to smoke in the area.
