Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Maidstone road crash
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service responded to a crash involving a vehicle that was on its roof in Heath Road, Barming, Maidstone. 
 
An elderly man was trapped inside the car. After stabilising the car fire crews removed the man using a spinal longboard. He was then passed into the care of South East Coast Ambulance Service. 
 
Fire crews left the scene at around 8.30pm.
