Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Incident
Two vehicle crash in Walderslade, Chatham
Incident details
Firefighters were called to a two vehicle crash at around 7.30pm at the junction of Maidstone Road with Walderslade Road, Chatham. Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) were also in attendance. 
 
Fire crews used hydraulic rescue equipment to release a casualty from one of the vehicles. A second casualty was also released and both were passed into the care of SECAmb.
