Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Fire at public house in Borden
Incident details
Firefighters are dealing with a fire in a pitched roof of a public house in Oad Street, Borden, near Sittingbourne. The fire is believed to have started in the kitchen and spread to the roof void. Four fire engines were sent tot he scene and crews cut away parts of the roof to access and extinguish the fire, and damp down hotspots. There were no casualties. The road was closed.
