Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service on a regular basis.

Flat fire in Maidstone
Incident details
Firefighters were called to a small fire in a first floor flat at a four-storey building. Crews wearing breathing apparatus searched the premises and used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. All occupants were accounted for. One casualty was administered oxygen and passed in to the care of SECAmb. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
