Fire in the roof of an Eastry home
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a fire in the roof space of a home in Mill Lane, Eastry. Crews arrived to find the roof well alight. Using breathing apparatus and hose reel jets, crews worked hard and fast to contain the fire. There were no reported injuries. The cause of the fire isn't known at this stage.
