Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Lorry crash closes tunnel at Dartford Crossing
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a crash involving two lorries at the Dartford crossing north-bound, which closed the east tunnel going out of the county. Two fire engines attended and crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to free a man trapped inside one of the vehicles. Three men were seen to by SECAmb paramedics.
