Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service on a regular basis.

Margate bedroom fire
Incident details
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel and positive pressure ventilation fan to tackle the blaze in a ground floor bedroom of a two-storey property. There are no reports of any injuries and the cause of the fire is not known at this time. Crews are likely to remain at the property for another hour damping down.
