Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Ashford bathroom fire
Incident details
Firefighters were called to a fire in a first floor bathroom in Albemarle Road, Willesborough, Ashford.  The fire appeared to have been caused by a discarded cigarette.  Firefighters with breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to deal with the fire.  50% of the bathroom was damaged by fire and and the rest of the home had smoke damage.
