Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Broadstairs house fire
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service attended a house fire in a two-storey property in Percy Avenue. When crews arrived smoke was billowing from the ground and first floor windows. Firefighters used breathing apparatus and a positive pressure ventilation fan for the incident which was located on the ground floor. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
