Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Tumble dryer fire in Cliftonville
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a tumble dryer fire in a house in Halstead Gardens. On arrival crews found the appliance alight in a cupboard under the stairs in the dining room. The kitchen was also filled with smoke. Firefighters used breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to tackle the fire.
