Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Car crash in Hawkhurst
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a car crash in Water Lane, Hawkhurst. On arrival crews found the car on its side in a ditch, they then used hydraulic rescue equipment to release the adult male driver. Once freed, the man was passed into the care of South East Coast Ambulance Service and taken to hospital.
