Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Small basement fire in Maidstone
Incident details
Firefighters attended a small electrical fire in the basement of a two-storey house. All occupants were out of the property before cres arrives. Firefighters in breathing apparatus put out the fire using a hose reel and a main jet, and cleared smoke from the building. No one one injured.
