Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

House fire - Herne Bay
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a house fire in Stanley Gardens, Herne Bay. On arrival crews found a well established fire in a two storey property. Both ground and first floor have suffered severe damage. All occupants have been accounted for and will need to be rehoused. Firefighters used breathing apparatus, hose reel jets and a ventilation fan to extinguish the blaze and clear smoke from the property.
