Incident
Dartford church hall fire
Incident details
Four KFRS crews have been fighting a fire in a church hall in Watling Street, Dartford, overnight.  The fire was in the single storey church hall that is approximately 10m x15m in size.  The building was well alight and crews used two main jets, a hose reel jet and breathing apparatus to tackle the fire. They also used a height vehicle to remove tiles from the roof to check and prevent further fire spread.  Crews were later reduced to two and the firefighters remained to make the scene safe and used a positive ventilation fan to clear the building of smoke.
