The Queen's Diamond Jubilee

Kent Fire and Rescue Service works carefully with its partners agencies including local councils in the planning of all major events and we will be fully supporting the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations next year.

We encourage anyone organising an event to contact their local council for guidance on planning and risk assessments, KFRS will then plan its operational response according to local need.

To assist organisers, the government has provided guidance on how to safely plan and manage a beacon event.

When organising your event, you should make sure that this can be done safely, without the need for a fire engine to be available at the site. You should make sure you undertake a risk assessment before the event and take actions to reduce any risks you identify.
