Young filmmakers competition - win £250 of shopping
vouchers!
We’re looking for short films by young people
that tell stories about the everyday risks they face.
Young people often think they’re indestructible, but the facts
tell a different story. Did you know road crashes are the world’s
biggest killer of teenagers?
Films should cover one of four subjects - fire, road
crashes, hoax calls or water safety.
- How you do this is entirely up to you, as long as it fits in
with the rules.
- You might be lucky enough to have use of a video camera, but
you can make your film on a smartphone if you like.
- Remember, creativity is the most important thing - your film
doesn’t need to be expertly shot and you don’t need to be a film
student.
- But we are looking for work that encourage people to take
responsibility for their safety and the safety of those around
them.
- Don’t be afraid to shock or surprise, but do remember to stay
safe while you’re making your film.
