Question
I have an elderly, disabled or otherwise vulnerable relative who lives alone and I'm worried about their safety. Can you help?
Answer
KFRS has a dedicated team of experts who can assess the needs of elderly or vulnerable people and work to improve their safety. This may include fitting of special safety devices such as smoke alarms for the deaf and hard-of-hearing, and work with other agencies such as Kent County Council's Adult Social Services team.

If they are over 80 or have mobility problems it could mean you're at greater risk if a fire breaks out in their home.

Call our friendly home safety team on 0800 923 7000 or email preferred contact details to home@kent.fire-uk.org

One of our friendly team will be in touch and let them know if a safe and well visit would help.
