Safety and Wellbeing Plan 2021-2024 update

Welcome to the Safety and Wellbeing Plan Update 2021-2024

This update helps to explain how Kent Fire and Rescue Service adapted and continued to deliver emergency response and other key services during the COVID-19 pandemic, supporting customers and partners across Kent and Medway. It also gives our early thoughts on a new set of strategies we’re developing. They will make sure we continue to deliver forward thinking services that exceed customers’ expectations in keeping Kent and Medway even safer.

As part of the update, the infographic on this page provides a summary of what each of our customers receive for the money they have paid through Council Tax, which help run our fire and rescue service. The information shown in the infographic can also be displayed as a web page.

We also welcome your comments on a number of options regarding Council Tax levels for 2021/22.

The update is shorter than usual, as there are no significant new proposals we are making this year. Nonetheless, I hope it gives you useful information on how we continue to keep you safe as we navigate our way through these challenging times into the future.
