Former Strictly Come Dancing head judge and Kent resident, Len Goodman, has teamed up with Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) to help spread the word about its free Safe and Well home visits.
“The Safe and Well home visit service with Kent Fire and Rescue Service is a no brainer; it’s fantastic! It costs nothing, and what’s better than knowing you are safe in your own home? I encourage everyone to get on the phone and book a visit today”, says Len.
Len learned lots about the free home visits and observed what the officers do and how the visits benefit the community. After being impressed with the initiative, he booked himself a visit and is urging others to as well.
Visits are tailored to keep people living safely and independently at home across Kent and Medway, and are available to:
- Those who have a long term health condition
- People over 70 years old
- Families with young children
- Expectant parents
The campaign will see Len popping up across social media, television, radio, newspapers and magazines, informing as many people as possible about the free service that they, or someone they know, can take advantage of.
Len says: “Don’t be daft, book your Safe and Well visit today - It’s absolutely free!”
