Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Static mobile home fire in Shadoxhurst
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a fire that completely destroyed a static mobile home in Hamstreet Road, Shadoxhurst near Ashford. Four fire engines were sent to the incident and the first crews to arrive found the home well alight. Crews used breathing apparatus, main jets and hose reel jets, and also compressed air foam system to tackle the blaze. There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire isn't known but the static mobile home was completely destroyed despite firefighters attempts to save it.
