Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Bin chute fire, Northfleet
Incident details
Crews were called to Carl Ekman House, Tooley Street, Northfleet following a fire in the bin chute of the property.  Though the fire had been supressed by the sprinkler system, crews searched for any further fire from the fourteenth floor down using thermal imaging cameras. They also vented the area to get rid of smoke.
