Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Car on its side in Chilham
Incident details
Firefighters were called to Ashford Road, Chilham just before 8.20pm to reports of a car on its side with a woman trapped inside. crews used a short extension ladder to help free her. After making the scene safe, they left the scene at around 8.40pm.
