Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Kitchen fire in Dartford
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a fire on the second floor of a domestic property on Farnol Road in Dartford. 
 
Three fire engines were sent to the scene and crews arrived to find a fire in the kitchen area of the property. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet and covering jet to extinguish the blaze. No casualties were reported and the cause of fire is not yet known.
