Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Fire in flat - Ramsgate
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service were called to a fire in a flat in Wellington Crescent. On arrival crews were faced with a fire on the second floor of a four storey building. Crews used breathing apparatus and a hose reel to extinguish the fire and then made the area safe. The building had been evacuated before KFRS arrived. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
