Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Bus and car crash - Ashford
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a crash between a car and a bus at the junction of the A28 and Heathfield Road. No people were trapped, however firefighters delivered first aid to the female driver of the car who suffered very minor burns on her hand. The casualty was placed in the care of paramedics. The Environment Agency were in attendance due to radiator fluid leaking into a drain. Crews made the area safe.
