Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Fire at dance school - Sutton Valence
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a fire at a business estate on Maidstone Road. On arrival crews found a large single storey building (50m x 100m) well alight. The building is used as a dance school. Firefighters used breathing apparatus, compressed air foam system (CAFs)and coldcut firefighting system to fight the fire. Three people were treated for breathing in smoke. Crews remaining at the site damping down and turning over.
