Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Single car crash at junction 3 of M25 - Swanley
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a single car crash on the M25 at the fast entry slip of junction 3 on the anticlockwise carriageway. On arrival crews found a male driver trapped with multiple injuries after his car had crashed into the motorway barrier. Firefighters used hydraulic rescue equipment to remove the roof of a car to free the occupant. The man was placed in the care of paramedics. Crews made the scene safe.
