Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Incident
Collison on M25 between juntions 5 and 6
Incident details
Fire crews are helping to make the scene safe following a crash on the M25 between junction 5 and 6. The crash, involving two lorries and a van has affected both sides of sides of the carriageway. Surrey firefighters are also in attendance, alongside Kent Police and SECAmb. It is believed that no one is trapped. Crews are helping to deal with a large diesel spillage. All four lanes are closed clockwise and two lanes are closed anti-clockwise. There is heavy congestion and delays are expected to continue for sometime shile emergency services deal with this incident.
