Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Incident
Man rescued following crash - M2 London-bound J3 to J2
Incident details
A male casualty was freed from the wreckage of his vehicle by firefighters using hydraulic rescue equipment following a three-car crash on the M2 London-bound between junctions 3 and 2. 
 
Crews stabilised the vehicle and created space for paramedics to treat the casualty before assisting to transport him to a waiting ambulance for further treatment at hospital.
