Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Chartham derelect building fire
Incident details
Crews have been dealing with a fire in a derelict building in Chartham Downs Road, Chartham.  The 30m x 50m building was well alight and firefighters used two main jets to deal with the fire. 
Update – one crew remained at the scene overnight to monitor the situation and damp down remaining hotspots
