Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Fire in a processing plant in Dartford
Incident details
Firefighters are responding to a fire located in a metal hopper within a processing plant in Pearson Way, Dartford. They were called shortly after 8am this morning and arrived at the property within minutes of receiving the 999 call. Two fire engines are at the scene and crews in breathing used a main jet and a hose reel to bring the fire under control by 8.42am. A positive pressure ventilation is also in operation to clear smoke within the building.
