Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Monkton garage fires
Incident details
KFRS crews have been tackling a fire in a row of four linked domestic garages in Monkton Street, Monkton, Ramsgate.  Firefighters found the garages well alight on arrival and used a jet, hose reel jet and compressed air foam to tackle the fire.  A man was treated at the scene with oxygen.  The garages have been destroyed by the fire.  Three crews were originally in attendance and two have remained to damp down.
