Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Boat fire - Wateringbury near Maidstone
Incident details
A fire aboard a seven-metre cruiser has been extinguished by firefighters at Bow Bridge Marina, Wateringbury near Maidstone. Fire crews used compressed air foam from a high-pressure hose reel jet to put the fire out and prevent it spreading to other vessels nearby. 
 
There are no reports of any injuries and the cause of the fire is not known.
