Whitstable derelict building fire
Incident details
KFRS crews have been fighting a fire at a derelict building and outhouse in Old Thanet Way, Chestfield, Whitstable. The property is around 25m by 25m and was well alight. Access was challenging and firefighters faced hazards including a collapsing roof and falling debris. Crews used a hose reel jet to fight the fire and prevent the fire spreading to other buildings.
