Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

House fire in Herne Bay
Incident details
Firefighters were called to a house fire in Forgefields, Herne Bay. Three fire engines attended and crews tackled the fire using hose reel jets, main jets and a positive pressure ventilation fan. There were no reported casualties. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
