Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Garage fire in Ashford
Incident details
Firefighters attended a fire involving a garage in Tufton Street, Ashford. Crews wearing breathing apparatus tackled the blaze, which spread to a boiler room and several vehicles, using hose reel jets. Smoke from the fire spread to the first floor of a nearby commercial property. There were no reported injuries Kent Police also attended and the cause of the fire is being investigated.
