Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Fire in vehicle yard - Deal
Incident details
Update 0945hrs 
A bulk water carrier was deployed at the scene at midnight allowing the incident commander to send some resources back to base. With the additional water capacity, the remaining crews were able to knock the fire down quickly. 
Firefighting operations were completed at the incident at 0047hrs, with a crew remaining on site to check the site for hot spots until approximately 0400. 
Around forty firefighters are tackling a blaze involving dozens of vehicles at a yard in Ellens Road, Deal. Crews wearing breathing apparatus are attacking the fire using three main jet hoses. 
There are no reports of any injuries and good progress is being made. Kent Police is also in attendance. 
Local residents are asked to keep windows and doors closed as a precaution and anyone driving is asked to avoid the area if possible.
