Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Man rescued after crash on A228, Snodland
Incident details
Fire crews attended an crash on the A228, Snodland at the junction of Rocfort Road. A man was trapped in a car following a collision with another car and a light goods vehicle. He was rescued from vehicle by firefighters using hydraulic rescue gear and was  passed to the care of SECAMB, to be transferred to hospital. 
 
SECAMB transported the male with a land ambulance to Kings College Hospital, London. The air ambulance also landed at the incident.
