Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Two-vehicle crash on M2
Incident details
Emergency services attended a crash between junctions 2 and 1 of the M2, involving a car and a van. Firefighters administered oxygen to one casualty before they were passed into the care of SECAmb. All lanes of the carriage way were closed while the vehicles were moved tot he hard should and debris was cleared.
