Incident
Man injured following vehicle fires
Incident details
A man was treated for burns after a vehicle he was welding caught fire on a driveway in Steeds Lane, Kingsnorth, Ashford. Where fire crews arrived at the scene the fire had spread to another van and car, and had caused damage to the facia, soffits and window frame of a house. Firefighters used a hose reel jet and a main jet to put out the blaze. Crews administered oxygen to the man and cooled his burns with running water, before he was passed in to the care of SECAmb.
