Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Boat alight in Maidstone
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called after reports of a pleasure craft boat alight on the River Medway at Maidstone close to Unicumes Lane. Two fire engines attended and crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames. There were no reported injuries and the cause is not known.
