Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Single-car crash on A21
Incident details
Firefighters were called to assist with the release of a man who was trapped in a car following a single-vehicle crash on the London-bound carriageway of the A21 at the Vauxhall interchange. Crews used hydraulic cutting gear tot free the casualty, who was passed in to the care of SECAmb. Kent Police also attended the incident.
