Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

House fire in Canterbury
Incident details
Firefighters were called to a fire in a first-floor bedroom of a two-storey house in Lansdown Road, Canterbury. Three fire engines attended and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. Crews used a thermal imaging camera to check the fire was fully out. There were no reported injuries. The cause of the fire is being treated as accidental.
