Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Derelict building fire in Marden
Incident details
Firefighters were called to a fire at a derelict building in Hunton Road, Marden. Three fire engines were sent to the scene. The building was completely destroyed by fire and farm machinery was used to demolish the unstable building and make the scene safe. There were no reported injuries. Kent Police attended the scene. The cause is not yet known.
