Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Man freed from crashed car in Dover
Incident details
Firefighters were called to a crash on the coast-bound carriageway of the A20 at Dover involving two cars. Crews used hydraulic rescue equipment to help free a casualty who was trapped inside one of the cars. They were passed into the care of SECAmb. Two further casualties were released prior to crews arriving on the scene.
