Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Fire in domestic garage
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was alerted to rubbish that had been set alight in a disused domestic garage in Long Meadow Way, Canterbury at 3.10pm. Two fire engines were sent and crews used a short extension ladder and high pressure hose reel to put the fire out. Firefighters left the scene by 3.35pm.
